Inkuбator

Media Art · Tech Art · Open Source

A residency framework for intermedial practice and participatory infrastructure.

Inkubator brings together artists, developers, and researchers working in experimental media art, tech-art, AR/VR, web art, experimental sound, and open source tools. The emphasis is on critical engagement with technology, on building alternatives to extractive platforms, and on finding ways to work together in a polarised world.

Practice

Residencies for individual or collaborative work. Workshops in specific techniques or tools. Sprints for focused, time-limited development. The formats vary depending on the project and the moment.

Concepts may address digital ethics, algorithmic governance, community infrastructure, or the politics of technology.

Participation

Everyone who contributes receives recognition through a shared system we are building: part ledger, part archive, part living record. This recognition exists both locally and globally and carries weight, in decisions about programming, in how resources are allocated, in shaping what this place becomes.

The system connects what happens here with the local community. Some of it is digital. The village assembly remains a governing body. We are finding ways to link these layers. A small experiment in how cultural spaces can function as laboratories of civic participation. Tested through practice.

2026

Inkubator is in its pilot phase. We are looking for artists and developers interested in this kind of residency and this kind of experiment.

If your work involves experimental media art, creative coding, AR/VR, experimental sound, open source tools, or critical approaches to technology, get in touch. Describe your project or interest. We will respond.
