About the project
The walking path from Mijakovići to the medieval fortress of Bobovac runs approximately three kilometres through forest and hillside. The Sound Walk extends this passage with an acoustic dimension.
One central information board introduces the project. Four smaller boards with QR codes mark listening points along the path, each dedicated to a composition created during a stay at Zvjezdane Staze.
The residency
Zvjezdane Staze is an independent artist residency in central Bosnia. The Sound Walk connects artistic practice with the landscape: works that emerge from the place and return to it.
Location
Mijakovići–Bobovac · ~3 km · Forest path, moderate incline
Main board
Exact locations are marked on the main information board at Bobovac.
The terrain is uneven, not suitable for wheelchairs or those with significant mobility limitations.
How it works
- Walk the path from Bobovac to Mijakovići (or the other direction)
- At each board, scan the QR code with your phone
- Listen while walking, or stop and stay with the sounds
There is no correct order. Start from either end, skip boards, return to favourites.
You'll need: phone with camera, internet connection, comfortable shoes. Headphones recommended.
Duration: 1–1.5 hours, depending on pace.
